Appalachian Autumn Hot Spiced Drink

Warm, sweet, and full of fall spice — no cider required.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz hot water

  • ¾–1 oz simple syrup

  • ¼ oz lime juice

  • ⅛ teaspoon Appalachian Autumn

  • Optional: honey to taste

Directions

  1. Add Appalachian Autumn to the hot water and stir well.

  2. Stir in the simple syrup and lime juice.

  3. Taste and adjust — add a little more Appalachian Autumn for stronger spice or honey for additional sweetness.

  4. Serve hot.

Tip: Because Appalachian Autumn is made with real spices, give it another stir before drinking if some of the spice settles.

For a 4-cup batch

  • 4 cups hot water

  • ½ cup simple syrup

  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

  • ½ teaspoon Appalachian Autumn

  • Honey, optional

Apple Cider Option

Want a more traditional fall drink? Replace some or all of the hot water with warm apple cider.

For an 8 oz drink, try:

  • 4–8 oz warm apple cider

  • 0–4 oz hot water

  • ⅛ teaspoon Appalachian Autumn

Taste first before adding simple syrup — the cider may already be sweet enough.
